Rotherham look to Hall to help attract sponsors
Londoner Hall – whose most famous clients included Terry Venables and Dennis Wise – has been brought in by director Spencer Fearn, who joined the board last October.
Hall’s remit will be to attract sponsorship and commercial revenue for the club as they look to mount a promotion challenge next season.

Hide AdFearn, a Rotherham businessman who specialises in providing education and life skills, previously owned East Stirling football club in Scotland and was part of a consortium linked to a takeover at Sheffield Wednesday before Milan Mandaric’s buyout of the club last December.
Fearn said: “Eric has a lot of contacts in sport and business and hopefully he can help us towards our goal, which is to get the club back in the Premiership.
“There’s no point being in sport to be a mid-table Championship club, and Eric Hall opens a lot of doors for us.”
Rotherham, whose qualification for the promotion play-offs was confirmed on Sunday when Bristol defeated Plymouth, visit Doncaster tonight in the B&I Cup.
