Bull capture French captain

BRADFORD'S recruitment drive continued today when they announced the signing of France captain Olivier Elima from Catalans Dragons.

The ex-Castleford second-row, 27, has penned a two-year deal and links up once more with in-coming Bulls coach Mick Potter, who signed him for Catalans from Wakefield in 2008.

"The Bulls haven't been where they should be over the last couple of years but with a new coach and some new players we will get back to where we want to be," he said.

"I had three good years in Perpignan but I've always said that I would be happy to go back to England at some point. Bradford are a big club and I'm excited about the move."

He will join fellow new captures Bryn Hargreaves (St Helens), Chev Walker (Hull KR), Shaun Ainscough (Wigan) and Patrick Ah Van (NZ Warriors) at Odsal.
