Full-back Ian Hardman leapt to gather Liam Finn's crossfield kick and touched down. Kyle Briggs converted.

Jessie Jones Parker forced his way over for Rovers' second try before former Rams' favourite Finn sold a dummy to race through a gap and score. Briggs added a conversion and the visitors led 16-0.

Substitute forward Luke Stenchion barged over between the posts and Pat Walker converted as the Rams hit back but Rovers restored their healthy advantage when centre Liam Wellham picked up a dropped ball and raced between the posts to give Briggs a simple conversion.

The second half belonged to Featherstone substitute Andy Kain as he ran in a hat-trick of tries to ensure Rovers racked up another victory.

Kain dummied his way over after 42 minutes and then scooted through a gap for his second 11 minutes later.

Briggs added the goal to kill off any slim hopes Dewsbury had of launching a comeback in this match.

Things got worse for the Rams when Anthony England was sin-binned for taking Finn off the ball and Finn made Dewsbury pay as his fine short pass sent Kain racing in for his hat-trick. Finn tagged on the conversion from wide out.

Dewsbury hit back with a late consolation try from Rob Lunt but they were well beaten by impressive Rovers.
