Doncaster 38 London Skolars 28: Second home triumph gives lift to Doncaster

DONCASTER chalked up a second successive home win but will be disappointed by their poor second-half display.

The Dons led 32-6 at the interval and looked set for a big score after running in six first- half tries. But they lost their grip in the second half and made far too many mistakes.

Prop forward David Bates touched down twice for Doncaster with Gary Ellery, Lee Gomersal, Aaron Henry and Craig Lawton also going over.

Skolars replied with a try from Austen Aggrey and picked up the pace when the Dons faded in the second half. Winger Ade Adebisi and centre Luke May both touched down twice to narrow the gap with Doncaster only able to reply with a 71st-minute try from substitute Paul Brown.
