Double for Fogerty keeps up pressure

CHAMPIONSHIP ONE: Oldham secured a 28-16 victory at Workington that keeps the pressure on the pacesetters.

Mick Fogerty scored a try in each half and others came from Jason Boults, Dave Ellison and Paul O'Connor, with Matt Ashe kicking four goals.

Both Rochdale and Swinton doubled their first-half scores to pile on the misery for win-less London Skolars and bottom-of-the-table Gateshead.

Wayne English and Craig Ashall both scored hat-tricks in Rochdale's 64-6 win at Gateshead while Damien Reid, Ryan Powell, Dale Bloomfield, Andrew Saywell, Danny Smith and Adam Bowman also got on the scoresheet. Ade Aderlye scored Thunder's solitary try which was converted by Ryan Clarke.

London Skolars scored 28 points for the third time in their last seven matches but were still condemned to a 28th successive defeat as Swinton ran out 56-28 winners.
