Farrell and Robinson in Rams hat-tricks

A HAT-TRICK each for Joel Farrell and Shaun Robinson helped the Dewsbury Rams to run out dominant 14-try victors over West Hull at the Tetley’s Stadium.

Dale Morton opened the scoring after just seven minutes, diving over on the left wing after a Farrell offload.

New signing Lucas Walshaw produced a 50-yard break to set up the Rams’ second try, as Tommy Gallagher barged over after the second-rower was halted short. Tom Hemingway converted.

Makali Aizue soon added to the tally with two more quick-fire tries but the visitors bounced back with a try of their own after charging down a clearing kick, the Wests fed the ball to Kristian Parker.

Aaron Brown and Farrell crossed for tries, either side of a try for West Hull’s Louis Crowther, who was able to pounce on full-back Louis Sheriff’s fumble in the goal area.

The Rams asserted their authority after the break with four swift tries, a Robinson hat-trick and Sheriff’s try.

Then came Farrell’s stunning individual run to break through four defenders before sprinting 50 yards for a superb try.
