Featherstone romp to victory at Workington
Rovers had too much class and power as they had the game virtually sewn-up by half-time with a 36-0 lead.
With Gareth Moore and Andy Ellis pulling the strings, backed-up by some penetrative running from Reni Maitua, Jamie Cording and Jack Bussey, Rovers were always in a position where they could control the game.

Hide AdFeatherstone took the lead via Jay Hitchcox, Paul Sykes converting, the first of eight in the game.
Further first-half tries from Sykes, Ian Hardman (2) and Moore (2) put Rovers in charge.
To their credit Workington battled hard in the second-half, restricting their opponents to just three more tries.
The first came on 48 minutes when Moore’s kick for the corner was followed-up by Thomas Minns to get the touchdown. It was the first conversion missed by Sykes.

Hide AdTry of the game came on 64 minutes. Carl Forber put in an attacking kick for the corner but Httchcox leapt highest to gather and he raced 80 metres, accelerating past Sam Forrester and Jack Murphy to score his second try.
The final try came when Remy Marginet was allowed too much room in the last 10 metres and he danced through to touchdown.
There might have been consolation for Town with a Perry Whitley try but he was brought back for an earlier knock-on.
