Featherstone Rovers 74 Workington 0: Rovers add to their amazing points tally

FREE-scoring Featherstone stormed through to the fourth round, taking their haul to 234 points in four victories in 12 days.

Jesse-Joe Parker and Tommy Saxton each scored three tries and Liam Finn bagged a try and nine goals from nine kicks.

Featherstone went ahead after just 29 seconds through Liam Welham then Parker bagged his first score to spark a burst of three tries in five minutes.

Jonny Grayshon, Parker himself, Saxton and Ian Hardman eased Featherstone to a 32-0 interval lead and the one-way traffic continued after the break.

Parker completed his treble and Steel and Saxton went over.

Rovers, with nine changes to the team that won 68-0 at Hunslet Hawks last Thursday, completed the rout with further tries from Kain, Finn, Grayshon and Saxton.

Briggs kicked two first-half goals before he sustained a leg injury.
