Hull fearful of losing Long for the season

A narrow victory at home to bottom side Catalans Dragons on Friday maintained Hull's pursuit of the Super League's top three but their coach Richard Agar was far from happy with their performance.

Agar referred to their display as "a 10-pinter" and now faces an anxious wait to determine how long he will be without playmaker Sean Long.

The veteran scrum-half dislocated his elbow with an hour gone in the 10-8 triumph and could miss the rest of the season.

"It's a big concern because he's a big player for us and we'll find him very difficult to replace. It compounded an ordinary night for us," Agar said.
