“Good Friday is always an emotional day and what happens on the pitch takes a lot out of the players.
“We were able to stop their momentum two or three times in the game. To do that on Easter Monday is a huge testament to the players’ character.”

Louis Sheriff, one of two Rovers debutants, marked his special day with a try. Ben Galea and Ben Cockayne combined well on the left-to send the 18-year-old over for his landmark moment and Dobson’s trusty left boot made it 12-0.
Harlequins set the nerves going when Oliver Wilkes crossed at the second attempt before Karl Temata levelled the scores.

Harlequins again came back to level through a 50-metre score from Luke Dorn and a try from Lee Mitchell.
The deciding try came from Scott Murrell in the 66th minute when his side-step opened up a gap for him to go over.
