Injury heads for exit as Hull bring in Crookes

Hull FC coach Peter Gentle has confirmed Sydney Roosters-bound Sam Moa has played his last game for the club after the prop, striving to return from a bicep injury, failed to prove his fitness in time for Saturday’s preliminary semi-final at Warrington.

The Airlie Birds have also announced the capture of Bradford Bulls winger Jason Crookes, 22, on a three-year deal while Huddersfield Giants have released Kiwi David Fa’alogo and ex-England hooker Scott Moore.

Ex-Hull hooker Tommy Lee has rejected new terms at Huddersfield and is set to join London Broncos – who yesterday ended speculation about their future by announcing they will stay at the Stoop for 2013 – while Giants prop Adam Walker has also turned down a new deal.
