LEEDS RHINOS loose forward Cameron Smith is out of action after breaking his jaw in training today.

The 21-year-old has been an ever-present so far this season but will now be sidelined following surgery.

Rhinos head coach Richard Agar said: “This is disappointing news for Cameron as he has been a key member of our squad this season.

“It was an accidental clash in training on Friday and our medical team immediately made sure he was scanned and he has had an operation this afternoon.

“He is in the good hands and hopefully he’ll be back on the field as soon as possible.”
