Newcomer Tansey has inside track on Castleford
He faces his former team-mates tomorrow barely three weeks after making the move to their West Yorkshire rivals.
The full-back has already shown his versatility, playing wing and stand-off in his first three games with bottom-placed Trinity.

Hide AdChances had been hard to come by at Wheldon Road for the former Leeds Rhinos and Hull FC player.
Yet Tansey – whom previous coach Ian Millward signed for Tigers ahead of 2013 – conceded: “I didn’t want to leave. I enjoyed it at Cas and they are playing well at the moment.
“But I need to be playing. There’s no point staying if you’re not doing that so that’s why I chose to come here – to get some game-time.
“Cas have got a few who can play full-back. Dorny (Luke Dorn) has come back from injury and Benny Roberts was playing well when he got his chance, so my game-time was limited.”

Hide AdWhile Tigers are aiming for Super League’s top four, their hosts tomorrow are readying themselves for some tough battles ahead in the qualifiers.
But Tansey, 28, maintained: “It should be a good game.
“I have a few good mates there and I’m looking forward to playing against them.
“Hopefully, I might be able to tell Brian (coach Brian Smith) a few things about how they play, which might help us, but Cas are playing really well at the minute, so it’s going to be a tough match.
“We just need to perform well and if we do the result will take care of itself.”

Hide AdAfter tomorrow, Wakefield have just one more match – at Huddersfield Giants – to gear up for the qualifiers when they face the other bottom four clubs plus leading quartet from the Kingstone Press Championship with, ultimately, their top-flight status in the melting pot.
Against Castleford, they include their latest new signing, prop Anthony Mullally, who joined from Huddersfield on Tuesday, in the 19-man squad and Smith has confirmed he will debut.
The visitors, meanwhile, have scrum-half Luke Gale back after he missed Sunday’s defeat at Hull due to illness.
