Returning Kemp sees Bulls to victory

Skirlaugh Bulls confirmed they are still in the hunt for a top-four play off in the GMB Union Hull & District Premier Division with a 26-6 victory over Paul King's Parkers, who managed just a try to Rich Brown converted by Kristian Parker.

The returning Ross Kemp amassed 12 points for the home side with a 60-metre try, three goals and a penalty, further tries went to Jamie Shaul, an 80-metre interception for Tom Saltmer and Chris Green. Andy Robinson kicked a goal.

Hull Wyke thought they had this one in the bag against Orchard Park Greenwood before losing 42-30.

After going in front 30-6 ahead with 25 minutes remaining, this turned out to be their final points tally.

The visitors ran in six unanswered tries. Wyke's points came from tries to Tom Evans, Mike Carr (2), Gareth Calcutt, Dean Forsyth and Craig Beaumont, Alec Hardie junior kicked three goals.

Orchard's points came from Craig Morfitt, Danny Gale, Dave Opie (2), Jamie McFadden, Darren Jones and Chris Armstrong, who also converted all seven.

West Hull Lions remain at the top of the division with this hard fought 26-18 victory over title rivals Bransholme Dales, who will rue missed chances.

The Lions' points came from a brace to Matt Plummer, Sam Cowan, Glynn Jones and Bret Turner (one try and three goals). Dale's scorers Anthony Rhodes (2), Craig Skelton (one try and three goals).

Norland Sharks kept up their top-four challenge with this easy victory over a depleted Hull Dockers A 46-10.

Norland's tries went to Nathan Walker (2), Liam Storey, Danny Flintoft, Lee Nobbs (2), Shane Tidswell, Danny Gardiner, Rob Gardiner and Adam Sanders. Goals were shared between Dick McNeil and Jamie Walker (2). Dockers replied through Dave Robson, Paul Damm and a goal to Jamie Chaytor.
