Scruton injury adds to Bradford Bulls’ frustration

Bradford prop Nick Scruton’s season is over after he underwent surgery to repair ligament damage to his wrist.

The former Leeds front rower, who was sidelined for three months in mid-season with a dislocated wrist, is expected to be fit to start pre-season training later this year.

He joins scrum-half Marc Herbert, who broke a hand in last Friday’s 60-12 defeat at Wigan, in missing the last two games of the season.
