Centre Derry Eilbeck helped the hosts to their first win with a hat-trick of tries.

Whitehaven's other tries came from, Spencer Miller (2), Stephen Fox, Craig Benson, Richard Farrer, Craig Calvert and Kyle Amor.

Dylan Skee kicked six goals, with Marc Jackson adding another.

Grant Edwards and Scott Wilson replied with second-half tries for Doncaster, Craig Fawcett kicking a solitary conversion as the visitors improved after the break.
