Ryder Cup Live: Eur 14.5 USA 13.5 - EUROPE WIN THE CUP
EUROPE have won the Ryder Cup, beating the United States after Graeme McDowell defeated Hunter Mahan in the final match at Celtic Manor.
McDowell sunk a 10-foot putt on 16 to win the hole and then closed out the match with a win at the 17th as Mahan made a mess of his approach.
The United States won three of the four sessions but Europe's superb performance on Saturday night and Sunday proved decisive.
