SkyBet: Rampaging Bulls look ready to spring upset on Wednesday

The FA Cup fourth-round draw was unkind to Huddersfield Town and there is little prospect of them emulating Leeds United's achievement in forcing a replay against Arsenal.

The Gunners were almost knocked out by Simon Grayson's side before earning a last-minute penalty, but they have since gone on an impressive winning run.

The last four games have seen them score 12 and concede only one – Bradley Johnson's rocket in the replay at Elland Road.

This will be a similar game to the Carling Cup semi-final second leg against Ipswich, with Huddersfield likely to sit in and attempt to soak up the pressure, but even if they leave some of their star players on the bench, Arsenal's starting line-up will have a strong look to it.

Arsenal have scored three goals in seven of their last 12 matches, so betting the 3-0 and 4-0 correct scorelines could be worthwhile.

Much-maligned striker Nicklas Bendtner has started all six of Arsenal's domestic cup ties this season and should start again, and he will be worth consideration in the first goalscorer market.

Also in the FA Cup, Sheffield Wednesday will need to be wary of League Two Hereford, who visit Hillsborough.

Owls chief Alan Irvine is under severe pressure after a dismal run of results, including Tuesday's 2-2 draw with nine-man Yeovil.

Do not be fooled by Hereford's lowly league position – Jamie Pitman's side are in a great run of form.

The Bulls have won each of their last five games, including three consecutive away wins in the space of nine days.

Leading scorer Mathieu Manset departed for Reading a week ago but Pitman has brought in a like-for-like replacement in Birmingham youngster Jake Jervis, assuming he is given permission to play. A shock could well be on the cards.

In the Championship, Hull City know they will need to nullify the dazzling skills of Adel Taarabt if they are to get the better of leaders QPR at the KC Stadium.

Taarabt scored in the 2-1 win against Coventry on Sunday which put Rangers five points clear at the top and should find more room in which to operate as Wayne Routledge's pace occupies defenders on the opposite flank.

However, Hull certainly know how to defend, having conceded only six goals at home this season and it would be wise to back 'No Goalscorer' in this game.

Only Manchester United have won more points at home this season than League Two leaders Chesterfield, so the signs are not good for Bradford City as they make their first visit to the new B2Net Stadium.

John Sheridan's prolific side are also the top home scorers in the division, hitting the net 35 times as hosts – seven more than any other side.

The Spireites also appear to have ironed out the defensive frailties which have seen them concede 18 on their own pitch, keeping clean sheets in the last three games despite a tough run of fixtures.

Bradford's form, in contrast, is woeful and they travel to Derbyshire on the back of four straight defeats, making Chesterfield look the bet of the day at 8-11.

Rotherham's opponents Stockport have the worst defence in the country and have conceded 21 goals in their last six games.

So there could be some value in backing Rotherham to score a hatful of goals.

The Millers are 3-1 to score two or more in the first half and 11-2 to score four or more in the match.

Weekend's best bets

Arsenal v Huddersfield Town – Arsenal to win 3-0, Nicklas Bendtner to be first scorer.

Hereford to beat Sheffield Wednesday.

Hull v QPR - No Goalscorer.

Chesterfield to beat Bradford City.

Rotherham United v Stockport County – Rotherham to score two or more in the first half.
