Titans look to avoid hat-trick of setbacks

Despite a strong start to the season, Rotherham Titans return to league action at London Scottish tonight having lost the last game they played in each of two competitions.

Their flying start to the Greene King IPA Championship came unstuck against London Welsh three weeks ago.

They then lost last week in the second game of the British and Irish Cup group of fixtures, beaten by a long-range late penalty in Connaught.

London Scottish have also won three of their first four Championship games and Rotherham have routinely struggled at the Athletic Ground.

Titans head coach Lee Blackett, who has made six changes, said: “We didn’t do ourselves justice last week and the boys want to put that right and put in a performance.”
