Video: Touring cars and Superbikes in Croft’s fast lane

North Yorkshire race circuit Croft is the place to be this summer for the best motor-sport action in the region.

From touring cars to vintage vehicles, Croft has it all for petrolheads and hi-octane enthusiasts.

The summer revs into action this weekend with round three of the British Superbike Championship, from practice on Friday all the way through to the race action on Sunday, May 15.

Then on the weekend of June 18-19, it is the turn of the British Touring Car Championship to swing around the chicane and into view.

Ginetta G55 sportscars are also in action that weekend.

The action does not stop there, though, with a Nostalgia Weekend on August 6-7 when cars such as a March Formula Atlantic and a Jaguar E-Type will be racing along with hundreds more historic race cars from 1940s-1970s.

On show will be hundreds more classic cars, bikes plus military vehicles (including planes etc). The E-type is celebrating its 50th birthday with 50 of the cars bound for Croft for the Nostalgia event to honour the car’s golden anniversary.

And there’s also a stage of the Roger Albert Clark Rally to look forward to on December 3, when 150 iconic cars from the Sixties and Seventies will be racing around the circuit.
