Yorkshire golf: Bedale's John Webster and Les Kitching double up at Rudding Park
They amassed 47pts at Rudding Park on Wednesday to edge host duo Mark Addison (10 handicap) and Dave Smart (12) on countback.
A second Bedale partnership, Colin Baines (17) and Mike Watts (6), placed third, a point back of the top two, and the hosts' Ian Rankine (13) and Lol Poulter (12) were fourth.

The eventual winners started with a one-pointer, but 17-handicapper Kitching gave them momentum with consecutive net birdies at holes two and three.
Webster followed with two pars before Kitching added a net birdie and a net eagle, the latter coming at the 369-yard par-4 seventh, which he birdied to garner four points.
Three-handicapper Webster made good use of his stroke at the ninth for another net birdie to give the pair 23 points on the way out.

The 12th saw their sixth net birdie go down on the card, courtesy of Kitching, as did another at the 15th from Webster.
Closing pars from Webster saw the Bedale duo - who had previously triumphed at Thirsk & Northallerton - better their outward haul by one point, which ultimately proved crucial.
