Yorkshire golf: Brough Classic 2016 open for entries

ENTRIES are now being invited for the 2016 Hatfields Jaguar Land Rover Brough Classic.

The event is a four-man team competition over two rounds, with the best two scores counting at each hole.

All entrants must be members of a club, hold a current competition playing handicap and will be required to provide their CDH number.

A 90 per cent handicap allowance will be involved, up to a maximum of 18 shots.

Handicap certificates will be required for non-members of Brough.

There will be three prizes on offer for overall 36-hole totals plus five daily prizes. Prizes will be presented at the conclusion of the second round. The winners of overall prizes will be ineligible for the daily prizes

A two-course meal will be available before or after play plus snack refreshments at the Half Way House after the 8th hole.

A team sponsor or representative will beinvited to the Golf Draw Evening on Friday, May 20.

Cost per team is £480 inclusive of VAT, and the closing date for entries is Friday, May 13. Entry will be limited to 44 teams.
