In Section A, Crosland Heath won 7-1 at home to South Bradford and are four points clear of Woodsome Hall and five in front of Marsden.

Woodsome have two home games remaining, including a final-day encounter with Marsden, who also have to visit Halifax.

Bradford Moor, in fourth spot, have to visit Woodsome and are also away for their final fixture.

Crow Nest Park avenged an earlier defeat at Todmorden with an 8-0 home victory which took them six points clear at the top in Section B.

Second-placed Silkstone were beaten 7-1 at Elland while Branshaw could only share the points at home to Outlane.

In the fourth match, West End lost 6-2 at Hebden Bridge.

Many outcomes are still possible, but Crow Nest Park have matters in their own hands – 11 points from their final two matches and they will claim their first semi-final place.

Hanging Heaton are similarly well-placed in Section C following their 7-1 home win over second-placed Ryburn.

Their two remaining fixtures are away, at neighbours Dewsbury District and at Saddleworth.

Ryburn also have to visit Saddleworth before finishing at home to Bradley Park.

Section D looks a little more predictable with Huddersfield having opened up a nine-point gap with a thumping 8-0 home win over Queensbury.

Blackley earned a creditable draw at Low Laithes but still lost ground to the leaders.

Lightcliffe’s game in hand complicates matters, but It looks as though Huddersfield could clinch the section with a good win at home to Bradley Hall on July 29.
