Yorkshire golf: Fortunes turn against Yorkshire at Waltham Windmill GC
The Northern Counties champions had led 4-2 at lunch, their foursomes victors including teenagers Bailey Gill (Lindrick) and Tom North (Howley Hall), the latter a late call-up for the unwell Greg Denton, also from Lindrick.
Bedale's Dan Brown, the Dutch Junior Open champion, won alongside Bawtry's Ben Brewster, Wath's Nick Poppleton and Woolley Park's Matty Lees were emphatic 6&5 winners, while Jamie Harrison (Rotherham) and Ilkley's Jack Lampkin returned a 2&1 win.

Hide AdLampkin and Dan Brown were Yorkshire's only afternoon winners while England A player Will Whiteoak (Shipley) brought home a half in the opening singles as Lincolnshire prevailed 11.5-6.5.
The result was in sharp contrast to the previous week, when Darryl Berry's side had demolished Derbyshire 16-2 at Scarborough North Cliff.
Three of the players who were on duty that day, and who all returned two points apiece, were in action in the prestigious Berkhamsted Trophy.
Kealan Lowe (Wheatley) came third, just two points behind the winner, Josh Hilleard, of Farrington, after rounds of 73 68 73 68.

A fourth Yorkshire competitor, Moortown's Ben Firth, runner-up in last year's Yorkshire Order of Merit, finished 21st (72 76 72 70).
