He has invited guests David Moult (October 16) and Richard Gowers (February 5) to play virtuoso works by Widor and Wagner. Also a welcome return of the Wednesday lunchtime concerts in Dewsbury Town Hall, with the Associate Leader of the Opera North Orchestra, Andrew Lang, playing melodies to please (October 18); the Opera North Trio include Ravel’s Piano Trio (November 11), and the Opera North Brass Ensemble play ‘something different’ (February 21).
