Singers and musicians unite for York flood relief

A string of Yorkshire singers and musicians are to join forces next week at a fundraising concert for families affected by the Boxing Day floods in York.

Artists due to perform on Tuesday evening at Fibbers, in Toft Green, York, include the award winning Rik Gaynor as Elvis, Spirit of Smokie, TV and recording star Dene Michael, soul diva Katie Jay, classical crossover sporano Michelle Palmer, male solo artist Marcus Andrews, singer songwriters Terri Shatiel, Lynsey Cawthra, Dan Audio, Dani Farley and Jamie Bevan, alternative/art-rock band Kumiko and alternative artist Ricky Fleming.

York Flood Relief Concert is supported by Minster FM. All money raised will be donated to the York City Council flood fund. Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets are priced £10 for adults and £5 for 14 to 17-year-olds.
