Dads dress their kids to impress

THESE are some of the super cute kids dressed by dad - and vying to win the Yorkshire Evening Post's Father's Day competition.

They were all entered into our contest to find the most fashionable father - with a £250 voucher for White Rose Shopping Centre up for grabs.

The winner will be chosen this week by YEP fashion expert Stephanie Smith and announced just before Father’s Day giving the stylish superdad an extra special treat.

Stephanie said: “The standard is high and I am so impressed. It’s clear that there are a lot of dads who take a keen interest in what their children wear and enjoy dressing them up, whether for fun or fashion, just as much as mums do. “Dressing up is an important part of growing up, as children experiment and learn to express who they are through outfits, costumes and favourite clothes or shoes. It’s great to see dads encouraging this.”

Today is also the last day for entries to our other great Father’s Day competition with a great bundle of gifts from Victoria Quarter retailers up for grabs. This includes a three-course Sunday lunch for dad and the family at the Fourth Floor Café, Harvey Nichols, Leeds - with a glass of wine or a Yorkshire Beer for everyone.

All you have to do is share your stories, memories or reasons why your father should be named Victoria Quarter Dad of the Year in 150 words or less.
