Bradford Forster Square station can be seen in this comedy drama about the exploits of a London conman and his bodyguard.
The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes (1970) – Netflix
Billy Wilder - who with his earlier film The Apartment, became the first person to win Academy Awards as producer, director, and screenwriter for the same film - shot this feature about the fictional detective, stopping at the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway. The site has been used in many productions, the Railway Children perhaps being the most famous.
Room at the Top (1959) – Prime
Jack Clayton's classic about a young accountant schemes to marry a wealthy factory owner’s daughter, despite falling in love with a married older woman, was filmed in Bradford.
