RENOWNED artist Rob Ryan has put the finishing touches to his solo exhibition, Listen to the World, which opens at Yorkshire Sculpture Park tomorrow.

The installation in YSP Centre gives visitors the chance to enter the artist’s whimsical world to discover a collection of papercuts and prints spanning the last six years of his career.

The exhibition features new works including a series of previously unseen papercuts and screenprints created and derived from Ryan’s 2016 Rizzoli wall calendar commission, along with a limited edition multi-coloured lasercut, which is exclusive to YSP.

The exhibition also features significant works from his repertoire such as The Map Of My Entire Life, 2012, his largest papercut to date, created for Manchester Art Gallery’s touring exhibition.

Ryan was born in Cyprus and lives and works in London. He studied Fine Art at Trent Polytechnic and at the Royal College of Art in London, where he specialised in printmaking. Listen to the World runs from July 4 to November 1.
