May 30 - Derren Brown: The master of psychological illusion returns to Leeds Grand Theatre (0844 848 2700, leedsgrand.com) with his new stage show Miracle. As ever, details are scant, but it should be an evening not to forget. To Jun 4.

July 5 - Gladys Knight: The seven-time Grammy Award winning singer performs at the First Direct Arena (0844 248 1585, firstdirectarena.com) in Leeds. Expect to hear the classic hits, from Midnight Train To Georgia to the James Bond theme from Licence To Kill.

July 15 - Russell Watson: The UK’s best selling classical crossover artist of all time returns to the stage. Songs From The Heart, which comes to Sheffield City Hall, (0114 2789 789, sheffieldcityhall.co.uk) features a soundtrack of the nationa’s best loved songs.
