Text Santa Christmas Jumper Day, ITV, 8pm

Phillip Schofield, Holly Willoughby and Amanda Holden lead a host of stars rallying support for this year’s charities - Macmillan Cancer Support, Make-A-Wish UK and Save the Children. Highlights include a visit to Coronation Street a Text Santa twist, Ninja Warrior receiving the star treatment when a line-up of celebrities take on The Wall, plus Lord Grantham having a tough decision to make in a Downton Abbey Special.

Ice Road Truckers, Channel 5, 8pm

Documentary series following lorry drivers who haul vital supplies over frozen terrain in North America. VP Express boss Hugh Rowland carries a huge car crusher to St Theresa Point. One of the heaviest of the season, the load scrapes a trail all the way to the remote outpost, riding just 10 inches above the ground.

Con Air, Channel 5, 9pm

A parolee hitches a ride home on a maximum-security flight conveying some of America’s deadliest criminals, and when they hijack the plane in mid-flight he is forced to intervene. Meanwhile, a US marshal has an ongoing battle on the ground to prevent the plane from being blown to pieces.
