Aura: West Yorkshire supermarket chain Abu Bakr launches new all-day dining concept in Leeds
West Yorkshire supermarket chain Abu Bakr has announced the official opening of its new all-day dining concept, Aura.
Located in Roundhay, the new venue will serve breakfast and brunch during the day before transforming into a grill and dessert destination in the evening.
The opening forms part of the supermarket chain’s recently launched expansion strategy.
Managing director, Hamza Hussain, said the concept reflects “changing customer habits and the growing demand for more immersive dining experiences”.

He said: “Leeds has always supported our growth and we are excited to officially bring Aura to Roundhay.
“The idea behind Aura was to create something that feels like a real vibe — somewhere people can come to enjoy breakfast, brunch, grilled food and desserts all in one place, while spending time with friends in a stylish environment.
“Our headquarters and many of our stores are based here in Leeds, so the city remains at the heart of everything we do. Behind the scenes, there is a huge amount of work taking place as we continue to develop additional stores and new concepts.”
In March, Abu Bakr announced a roughly £18m plan to double its store footprint across the UK.
It comes after Mr Hussain was announced as the new managing director of Abu Bakr at the start of this year, at the age of just 22.
Speaking to The Yorkshire Post last month on the appointment, he said: “It's a massive responsibility, and it's a lot of pressure, but I feel privileged as well, because a lot of people don't have the chance at this age to do what I'm doing.”
