Batch’d: New jobs created as bakery opens flagship Meadowhall store

Artisan bakery Batch’d has opened a flagship store in Meadowhall, creating eight new jobs.

It is an expansion of the company’s presence at the shopping centre, having initially run a kiosk which proved popular with shoppers.

The new location is in the Oasis Dining Quarter of Meadowhall.

Harry Clavane, managing director of Batch’d, said: “It’s beyond exciting to open our biggest store yet here at Meadowhall.

"Our time at the centre so far has been incredible and we look forward to welcoming even more customers in Sheffield and beyond to our brand-new store.”

Darren Pearce, centre director at Meadowhall, said: “We’re delighted that Batch’d has chosen Meadowhall for its flagship store and biggest investment to date.

"Its kiosk is a huge success – the bakery offers something a bit different for those that want a sweet treat to enjoy at the centre or to take away to have at home.”
