Bowmer + Kirkland is appointed to deliver 500-home build to rent residential scheme in Leeds

The construction and development group Bowmer + Kirkland has been appointed to build a 500-home build to rent (BTR) residential scheme at Whitehall Riverside in Leeds.

The £140m project is being delivered by Glenbrook and supported by Legal & General.

Glenbrook is a property company specialising in development, investment and asset management. It has developed more than 1,500 homes for the build to rent sector across the UK, working with funding partners such as Barings Real Estate, Moorfield and Clarion.

Danny Roberts, development director at Glenbrook, said: “With planning permission secured and the funding agreement with L&G now in place, we’ve immediately moved forward with the delivery of Whitehall Riverside and are working towards a completion date of April 2026.
