A free seminar for Humber SMEs is to feature a panel of expert speakers focusing on innovation and business growth. The Innovating Markets morning event at the Innovation Centre, Grimsby, is being hosted jointly by World Trade Hull & Humber and Growth Accelerator, the Government-backed partnership of private sector business growth experts. By 2015 at the latest, all UK companies currently using UK GAAP will have to change, either to another form of GAAP, or adopt a completely new UK GAAP standard. The impact of these changes is likely to be significant for many UK companies. PwC is holding workshops in its Leeds office to take you through what the changes will involve.
