Brian Noble is the guest speaker at a business lunch being held in support of the Yorkshire children’s cancer charity, Candlelighters. Mr Noble, the former Great Britain Rugby League coach and newly appointed coach at Salford Reds, will speak at the event, hosted by Physio Med and taking place at the Headingley Experience, Headingley Carnegie Stadium, Leeds, between 12pm and 3pm. Welcome refreshments will be followed by a two-course lunch. Each attendee will also receive a signed copy of Mr Noble’s book, Building Winning Teams. The Met Club is hosting an evening with Gerald Ratner, who took over as CEO of the family jewellery chain in the mid 80s, becoming one of Britain’s best known businessmen. By 1990, Ratner’s was the world’s largest jewellery retailer with profits in excess of £120m.
