The announcement follows the news that Shipley-based Consult Red has grown by over 15 per cent in the last six months.
The firm works with many of the world’s leading media operators including Liberty Global, Comcast (Sky) and AT&T, delivering connected devices and systems.
In the last six months, throughout the pandemic, Consult Red has expanded its team by 34 people to over 190 strong across three offices in the UK (Shipley), Poland and the US.
It has also invested in new offices in California from where its team supports US-based clients. This investment in both people and premises is central to Consult Red’s ambition to meet the demand from its media clients and apply its connected and embedded expertise to the ‘Internet of Things’ market.
Consult Red (formerly known as Red Embedded Consulting) said it has built a strong reputation in the media sector, and digital media devices developed by Consult Red are currently deployed in more than 30 million homes around the world. It said it is using this experience and track record in innovation to help companies across all sectors realise their digital ambitions and deliver ‘smart’ and secure IoT products to market.
Ms Bach said: “I’m a huge fan of digitalisation and simplification, and I chose to work with the team at Consult Red because of their energy and passion.
“Over the last 15 years they’ve delivered a solid track record of innovation in the media sector, and I’m looking forward to working with them in their next chapter of growth helping companies across all sectors innovate and adapt in this digital age.”
