The online retail giant announced on Tuesday that the Amazon Fresh service would soon be available in Leeds, Wakefield and Bradford.
Amazon Prime members can choose from tens of thousands of grocery items including meat, seafood, produce, snacks and household essentials, with free delivery on orders over £40.
The shop is delivered directly to customer's homes and same-day delivery is available for orders placed before 9pm in most areas.
Booths, Whole Foods Market, Pepsi, Danone, Arla, Warburtons and Britvic products are all available to order, as well as produce from local retailers.
Prime members in eligible postcodes can request an invitation to start shopping on Amazon Fresh and they will be alerted via email when the service has launched.
It follows the launch of Morrisons on Amazon in Leeds last month, giving access to “millions of customers” visiting Amazon’s main website.
Amazon Fresh country manager, Russell Jones, said: "We’ve been delighted with the response so far and customers tell us they love the fast delivery and vast selection offered by Amazon Fresh.
"With delivery now free for Prime members, we’re delighted to bring Amazon Fresh to customers in and around Leeds today and to millions more by the end of the year.”
