  • Two savers have each won £1 million in the February 2026 Premium Bonds prize draw
  • The jackpot winners are from Central Bedfordshire and Liverpool, both holding the maximum £50,000
  • One winning bond was bought in 2022, while the other dates back more than 20 years to 2004
  • Premium Bonds offer tax-free prizes instead of interest and are backed by the UK Government
  • More than 19,000 high-value prizes, including 78 worth £100,000, were awarded this month

Two lucky savers are celebrating after each landing a £1 million win in the February 2026 Premium Bonds prize draw.

Run by National Savings & Investments (NS&I), Premium Bonds provide a unique alternative to traditional savings accounts.

Instead of earning interest, every £1 bond is entered into a monthly prize draw, with tax-free prizes ranging from £25 to the £1 million jackpot.

Although prizes are never guaranteed, all money invested is fully secure. Savers can invest from as little as £25, up to a maximum of £50,000, either online via the NS&I website or by post using an application form and cheque.

Winning bonds are selected at random by the Electronic Random Number Indicator Equipment (ERNIE), which has been drawing numbers since 1957.

Backed by the UK Government, Premium Bonds offer the peace of mind of guaranteed security alongside the thrill of a potentially life-changing prize.

Who are the big winners this month?

This month’s first £1 million winner is from Central Bedfordshire and holds £50,000 in Premium Bonds. Their winning bond, 489TB013219, was purchased four years ago in February 2022.

The second jackpot winner, from Liverpool, also holds £50,000. Their winning bond, 40QJ919368, was bought over 20 years ago in October 2004.

While the million-pound prizes grab the headlines, 78 people won £100,000 each in the February 2026 draw, with NS&I awarding over 19,000 “high value” prizes in total.
