Crest Nicholson set to deliver 250 new homes across East and North Yorkshire

Housebuilder Crest Nicholson’s Yorkshire division has entered into contracts on three sites across North and East Yorkshire with a view to creating 250 new homes.

The firm is set to create a mix of private and affordable housing across the three sites, which are located in East Ayton, North Yorkshire, Swanland in East Yorkshire and Wilberfoss, near to York.

Guy Evans, Managing Director at Crest Nicholson Yorkshire said: “The sites in Swanland, Wilberfoss and East Ayton, are sought after destinations for homebuyers in the region, and will allow us to provide increased choice of high quality, more energy efficient, new build homes. We look forward to starting construction works later this year.”

The Swanland site is just over 20 acres and located on the southern edge of the Yorkshire Wolds. It will comprise 150 two to five bedroom homes and bungalows, including 25 per cent affordable housing.

The six acre Wilberfoss site, located on Mill Lane, will comprise approximately 60 two to five bedroom homes, including 25 per cent affordable housing.

The East Ayton site is just under five acres in size and located on Racecourse Road, five miles south west of Scarborough.It will create 56 new homes, with 30 per cent as affordable housing.

Works are expected to start at Swanland in the coming months, and East Ayton and Wilberfoss in early 2024, with sales starting for all three developments from early next year.
