Danforth Care Group creates 120 jobs in Yorkshire as it continues to grow

Around 120 jobs have been created in Yorkshire by a fast growing care home operator.

Danforth Care has opened eight care homes in the last 12 months from Lancashire to Norfolk as part of its expansion plans.

The group, which has care homes in Brough, East Yorkshire, and Rotherham, South Yorkshire, plans to open another eight sites over the next 18 months.

A spokesman said the new care homes had created 260 jobs across the country and 528 safe places for vulnerable residents.

Home Manager Sue Ravenhall, of the Sid Bailey, residential care home in Brampton, Rotherham, said: “The home is an asset to the whole community. The new facility created 60 jobs for the area, as well as being a carbon free home operating without gas. The home is industry leading in every way, from the bespoke individual centred care to the design of the building.”
