Hide AdJudges are looking for entries from companies of all shapes and sizes, so long as they have a compelling story to tell and evidence to back it up.
As well as celebrating excellence in business in Yorkshire, the awards provide a platform for political heavyweights like Chancellor George Osborne and his counterpart Ed Balls to reach an audience of the region’s most dynamic entrepreneurs and their advisors.
This year’s speaker is Iain Duncan Smith, the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions who is leading Government efforts to reform the welfare state and get more people back into employment.
The awards recognise the individual contributions made by leading figures such as retail giants Sir Ken Morrison and Sir Stuart Rose, Royal Bank of Scotland troubleshooter Stephen Hester and Yorkshire ice cream tycoon James Lambert.
