A Dynamic Networks spokesman said: “He has spent the last 12 months growing his consultancy business, and felt the time was right to join forces with a firm that could offer his customers complementary services.”
James Baird, the managing director of Dynamic Networks, said the move would help the company support more businesses.
Following the deal to buy V-Earth, Leeds-based Dynamic Networks will have nine staff and a turnover of around £850,000.

Mr Baird added: “It has always been my plan to extend our IT services and having Steve on board, who is well known and respected in the region for his IT knowledge and expertise, is a real coup for us.
“With Steve on the team, and a strong network of strategic partners in place – including Microsoft, HP and Veeam – we’re now very well placed to grow the IT services and support business.”
Entrepreneur Matthew Briggs joined the Dynamic team as a non-executive director last year. He founded the corporate and commercial law firm Brilliant Law, which is now known as Genus Law.
