FIONA BRUCE, one of the biggest names in British television, will be the host of this year's Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business Awards.

Ms Bruce is an award-winning journalist who has appeared on a large number of prestigious news and current affairs shows. She will host our Excellence in Business Awards dinner, which will be held in Leeds on November 4. Book tickets now

It has also been announced today that the deadline for entering the awards has been extended to May 31. The awards, which were established in 2006, celebrate the incredible range of enterprises that have established a base in God’s Own County.

The Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Greg Hands, will provide an insight into the Government’s economic strategy when he addresses the awards dinner later this year. Book tickets now
