From classic cocktails to quality food, 63rd+1st showcases the very best of the Big Apple – and now the brand is opening its third venue under the EveryDay Cinema on Albert Street.

Named after 63rd Street and 1st Avenue in Manhattan, the brand’s + symbol represents its ethos of ‘where two roads meet, great things happen’.

“The 63rd+1st experience is like no other to be had in North Yorkshire,” explains CEO Robert B. Cook. “It’s the perfect place for people to meet morning, noon or night and celebrates the principles of classic cocktails and quality food in a beautiful setting.”

The first venue opened in Cobham, Surrey, in May with a second in Glasgow in September. So why was Harrogate next?

“The town of Harrogate is special due to its idyllic aesthetic and busy feel,” explains Robert, formerly CEO of Hotel du Vin. “Knowing the town well from my Hotel du Vin days, the streets are full of first-class eateries, making it the perfect choice for our next location.”

Enjoy a diverse menu

63rd+1st, part of newly listed Hostmore plc, represents the coming together of people, culture tastes and styles and its eclectic menu ensures it caters for everyone during all times of the day with weekend brunch and a weekday Lunch Club with favourite dishes for £4, plus everything from roast dinners on Sundays to sharing plates that can be enjoyed with handcrafted cocktails.

“Our menu is focussed on smaller, sharing plates, allowing our guests the freedom to choose more,” Robert says. “Our talented team of chefs, led by Keith Shearer, group executive chef, have produced a menu that truly represents the Manhattan food scene and allows you to try new things.”

Tasty favourites include truffle arancini with parmesan, mozzarella corndog and lemon tart with raspberry sorbet.

The bar is the focal point of 63rd+1st offering “a curated selection of cocktails, spirits, beers and wines”, says Robert. “Our staff are experts in their field, they exude a passion for cocktails and service. It’s their craft. The team can recommend a drink for any mood or based on your favourite spirit.”
