Forty jobs set to be created in Bradford as Flip Out arrives in Broadway shopping centre

Forty jobs are set to be created when a new leisure venue opens in Bradford later this year.

The Broadway shopping centre has announced that Flip Out has signed a lease for a two-level unit. Flip Out, which will have an adventure style format including slides and an assault course, is set to open in autumn 2023.

Ian Ward, General Manager at The Broadway, said: “I’m immensely proud that The Broadway will be home to Flip Out’s very first West Yorkshire location.

"As the city anticipates Bradford 2025 and Bradford Live, coupled with the increase in visitors to the city this will bring, it is important that the centre supports and enhances the city’s night time economy with exciting leisure venues.”

Danielle Veitch, regional manager at Flip Out, said: “We’re delighted to be opening West Yorkshire’s very first Flip Out in Bradford particularly in The Broadway as it is the ideal location for a leisure facility.

“We’re also really proud to be driving a number of new job opportunities in the region."

Bradford will be Flip Out’s 30th venue in the UK. It already has bases in Doncaster, Manchester and Chatham.

The Broadway Bradford has more than 80 stores and a six-screen boutique cinema.
