Gamma lights way with MENA office

Gamma Illumination, the Yorkshire-based designer and manufacture of low energy lighting services, revealed that it had expanded its operations in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

It has opened its first office in the region and appointed Arsalan Bari as vice president.

A spokesman said: “Gamma Illumination has been active in the MENA region for the past five years.

“This expansion will enable the company to develop closer relationships with its clients and support the rapidly growing business demands in the region.

“Mr Bari brings a wealth of experience to the post, gained over 10 years working for well-known companies within the lighting industry.”

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Bari said: “I am delighted to be joining such a fast growing and forward-thinking company and look forward to helping the Gamma team continue its momentum in the MENA region.”

Cate Hickling, the sales director at Gamma Illumination, which is headquartered in Dewsbury, added: “These are exciting times at Gamma Illumination and we are delighted to welcome Arsalan on board.

“Arsalan’s experience, regional knowledge, as well as his connections will enable us to continue to build on our presence within the MENA region.”

Gamma Illumination, which was founded more than 20 years ago, works in the commercial, retail, industrial and architectural sectors.
