Henderson’s Relish awarded the Chef’s Hero Product at Houses of Parliament awards
The eighth annual Awards for Excellence in Vegan Care Catering honoured companies providing compassionate and innovative vegan and vegetarian options in care settings.

Hide AdHenderson’s Relish was celebrated as a favourite among chefs for its versatility and rich flavour.
Henderson’s has been made in Sheffield since 1885 and in 2013 the company moved from its Leavygreave Road factory to a much bigger premises at Sheffield Parkway Business Park.
Vegetarian for Life’s most recent survey found a 24 per cent increase in vegans and vegetarians in UK care homes over the past decade.

Hide AdChief Executive Amanda Woodvine said: “For me, it’s a clear signal that the future of care must include thoughtful and compassionate dietary choices for everyone.”
In a Twitter post Henderson’s said: “Last night we won an award in the Houses of Parliament (bit posh for us, but we gave our apron an iron to make sure we fit in).
“It was the Vegetarian for Life Awards where Henderson's was voted for by professional chefs as an essential in their kitchens. One for the mantelpiece, that.”
