Historic Ripon pub Lamb & Flag sold two years after closure

A historic Yorkshire pub building which closed more than two years ago has changed hands.

Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co has completed the sale of The Lamb & Flag in Ripon, North Yorkshire.

The grade two-listed three-storey white-washed building dates back to the early 19th Century and formerly operated as a pub/inn until it closed in January 2022. Marslie McGregor, business agent at Christie & Co who handled the sale, said: “It was a pleasure to sell this property on behalf of a well-renowned pub company.
