Historic Scunthorpe chapel to go under the hammer with £200,000 price tag

A historic chapel is to go under the hammer with a £200,000 price tag.

Potential buyers can place bids for the former Methodist chapel in Ealand near Scunthorpe as part of an online property auction held by Sheffield firm Mark Jenkinson, which is part of the Eddisons property group.

The chapel, which was built in 1882, served as a place of worship for more than 130 years. Mark Jenkinson director, Adrian Little, said: “This is such an attractive building which carries with it a lot of history, making it a unique property in the village.”
